We’re excited to be stepping into the next chapter of WayfinderWoman — building on the incredible work that began in a garage and has grown over more than a decade.
Over the past 10 years, we’ve supported over 1,000 women. Along the way, we’ve heard feedback that gives us goosebumps, met extraordinary people, and built a community of support that stays as local as possible — rooted in partnerships with local organisations, groups and businesses.
Listening has always been at the heart of what we do.
After years of hearing what women tell us they want and need, this next chapter represents the next step in responding to women’s needs — strengthening and bringing together a clear, reliable support offer that women can trust.
We’re a compassionate (and excited!) team of women, and we’re building this website ourselves, so you might notice it changing, and evolving, now and then.
We believe different kinds of work can complement each other — direct support, reflection, learning and creativity — and that having space to process, develop and learn makes our support stronger and more sustainable.

WayfinderWoman Peer Support offers non-judgemental, lived-experience-led support for women through one-to-one sessions and peer groups, helping them navigate life’s challenges in ways that feel right for them.
Volunteering Opportunities
Women volunteer with us for many reasons — whatever brings you here, you’ll be joining a supportive, lived-experience-led community where connection, confidence, and growth matter.
Community Voices
Community Voices creates space for women to share what life is really like in our community, what’s missing, and what would help — adding depth and meaning to data, so support reflects real lives.
